Our Specialised Services

Practical, child-focused solutions to help families resolve conflict.

Specialised Service Options

Our four main services support families in transition.

  • Mediation Sessions: Neutral discussions help both parties to express concerns and reach negotiated agreements, reducing conflict
  • Child Consultation: Children's perspectives and lived experiences are included in mediation sessions to ensure outcomes meet their emotional and developmental needs
  • Parenting Coordination: Expert support helps parents with court orders experiencing continued high levels of conflict communicate and resolve disputes, prioritising children's well-being, without re-litigating
  • Section 60I Certificates: We are nationally accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner's with the Attorney General's Department and can issue section 60I certificates if mediation is not suitable or unsuccessful

Specialised Service Options

Mediation

Mediation is a process that supports families to resolve their parenting and property disputes without the need for court determination.

Your Mediator is an impartial third party who is there to facilitate, support and assist you in discussing concerns and exploring options to resolve your dispute in a manner that is respectful and achievable for all concerned.

Mediation empowers separating couples to make decisions that work for them and their children.

Child Consultation

Child Consultation is a chance to hear from children about how they are experiencing living between two homes with the aim of parents implementing some of what they learn into their agreements to help support their child's developmental, emotional and psychological wellbeing during different stages of separation.

Parenting Co-Ordination

Parenting Coordination is an emerging alternate dispute resolution process provided by specialist practitioners for high conflict parents. Parenting Coordination combines assessment, education, case management, conflict management and negotiation in a tightly managed process with the aim of supporting parents to resolve disputes without further court intervention. Parenting Coordination requires appointment by Parenting Plan or Court Order and is an ‘on record’ process.
